Welcome to Cheerful Seed
My name is Christel St Fort, and I believe in Christ, who strengthens my heart and spirit to love my neighbors as I love myself. Growing up in a Christian Household, my father being a pastor and my mother serving the church have always been motivating factors in my life. I’ve had the privilege of watching and learning about their way of life. Slowly but surely, I’ve found myself expressing those same caring factors. So in December 2022, I decided to push forward with my purpose by opening the doors I call “CHEERFUL SEED CORP,” The name alone is an inspiration in my walk of faith. It describes me as a person daily. And it covers the load of work embedded in my heart, helping to make a difference in someone else’s life.

Mission
Our nonprofit mission statement outlines a three-step approach to helping the elderly, advising the youth, and assisting orphans in our community.
Vision
We envision a community where the elderly, youths, and orphans have what they need to change their current living conditions.
Seeding
Seeding is a one-word slogan that we use to describe our mission and operation. Example: Our first Seeding project was with Tiffany Hall Nursing and Rehab Center. Where we prayed, sang, played, and spent time with as many as 100 plus Elderlies. We did not come empty-handed. We were blessed and fortunate enough to have provided hygienic gifts to the entire facility. Stories of new and old were shared with us by some of the elderly as others sang their favorite memorable songs. The will to share a moment of your time with someone else produces a spirit of joy. We tend to neglect our elderly by forgetting they need comfort and knowing someone cares for them right where they are. Most don’t have immediate family members, sons, or daughters to look after them or live nearby—thus the reason we made them a priority; being our first Seeding.
